An affiliate program is a system of offering monetary incentive to webmasters who bring traffic to a specific site. We have just such a program. The way it works is, when you sign up as an affiliate with us, you get a special link that identifies visitors to our site as your referrals. Whenever the person you referred here makes a purchase, you get a small (usually 5%, though some products we sell offer as much as 50%) commission.
If you bring us 10 new buyers a month, you'll slowly work your way into a nice monthly income. For example, if each of those 10 visitors were to spend $40 a month, after a year, you'd be making an extra $240 a month.
Our system is set up so they don't have to keep using your link though. They only have to use it once. Once they've come through to our website, we give them a cookie that identifies them as your customer in the future.
