Bored like hell: HiPoopus sent this email to me. Those were the days. Ok, so your bored. I am too. I have a tower, large forge, two story, 5 small houses, 3 boats. 4 accounts. I have gm’s out the wazoo. We operate two shops, make lots of stuff and sell it. Got money, regs, armor and weapons. But like you say, we’re bored as hell. I don’t mind seeing MDK banned, some of em needed it. You can go too far. But I miss the good old days of Dread Lords and Ladies, when you went in the dungeon, did all names, saw red and recalled or ran your ass off. I miss trying to sneak a newbie in the dungeon, lockpick chests and sneak out. Even better, watching the guy ahead of you get fried by 3 pks at the pass by Despise while you breathed a sigh of relief and ran past. Or when you were running through the woods and came on an orc, spider, troll or harpy and new your ass was dead. THOSE WERE THE DAYS. To many pks will kill the game, too few will also. As for macroing, OSI gave up on trying to beat the UOE users (UOPlugin too), picked an easier target. Maybe they have quota’s to make. Ban 20 players a week, so we can show em we mean business. Get the poor bastards who were trying to build a character up who don’t get to play but weekends. I know, before I macro’d I had been working on the same character trying to catch up to my wife (we had shared an account). Just so I could go fight in the dungeons with her. I finally gave up, did some sparring and macroing and got there. Give us a break, Jeez. Nothing has really happened that is exciting in awhile. I remember having the whole guild show up to help fight off house looters, with a battle running 4 hours. It was great. Now they show up, you ban em. its over. When someone plans a good event, we’re screwed due to server lag. I have been playing since 97, I have been leaning a little more towards EQ every week. Alot of my old guild mates are there playing now. I just want to see pks be red again, not blue. See monsters running around everywhere around the edge of town. Watch people running again in groups to protect each other. See UOE out the door so if you fight someone, it is a straight up battle, not a massacre where you have to listen as a ghost to some twerp with UOE talk about how bad-assed he is when he has 50 gheals on him, ton’s of regs and bandages, running around with fastwalk healing with everyone attacking the crap out of him. Its no fun. Waste of time. Well, I’m through bitching. The game needs BALANCE as OSI is so fond of saying, we are definitely NOT balanced at this time. hours I have bragging rights. So, I'm here with my father (The Ham) and we had obviously been standing in one place
for to long because he was coming up with some hair brained ideas. :) I think
he looses a hair each time he comes up with these hair brained ideas. I offer the
following picture as evidence. (Notice the missing hair) So we are off to grab the hat. (Caution to viewers at home: Do not attempt this at
home. You could risk injury or even death) He walks right upto him and starts
talking to him. Comments on his hat then makes the grab and dash. It was fun today but I won't stand in line like this again. That is atleast until I forget about this time. :)

After a killer hail storm: The site is up. Saturday we had one hell of a hail storm here that left us with an inch of hail on the ground and our internet connection down. US Worst (Those of you in the western US know who I'm talking about. It's US West Communications for everyone else.) finally got out here and repaired out lines. This has to be a picture of our GM's kids: Well surprise it's not. Take a look at these pictures. It's Lord British with his GM tikes.
Well this is our GMs. The pictures explain it all when you think back to the way you have been treated by GMs in the past and their attitude seemed child like. I'm not saying that all of them are immature but I am saying that I was very shocked when I found out that our GMs were made up primarily of teenagers. Now with that said I have employed teenagers at some of my companies in the past and some of them have done a kick ass job. With the cat out of the bag on this one I expect a kick ass jog out of our GMs now. <Evil Grin>
Our site has split: In an effort to better manage our website we have split the website in half. We now have a site totally dedicated to screenshots of UO. With several hundred shots and growing I decided that the site could be better managed separately. So after you read the news or check the price lists check out the new screenshots site. Dr. TwisTer: I added a link to his site at the top.
Check out the Random Guild Generator: (Link) I found it to be a good laugh and I'm sure you will also. Dr.Twister: (Link) It seems that he has received several letters about the current state of PvP. I recommend taking a look at it. In the third letter that he posted I was very surprised to find that it was written by MACHIAVELLI of Baja. I didn't know that someone who is such an ass and is so unethical could write such a good letter. I was very surprised but he is still an ass. :) Oh and for any of you that are interested he's my neighbor on Baja.
